Things I've Never Said

Alone in a sea of people
Sometimes I feel like no body cares at all, that the only people that give a shit about me are the ones that depend on me for food and a shoulder to cry on. Today is my birthday,... and no one remembers. Am I destined to be forgotten? Or is it just that nobody cares..

R.I.P
I started this blog so that I could say the things that I have always wanted to say but never got the chance. About a year ago I got my first real job and the first person that I met was a really attractive man. He graduated a year before me and we had a lot in common. We started to hang out all of the time and my parents didn't like that, this particular coworker reminded me a lot of my brother, he was into the drugs and he ran with the wrong crowd. This friend of mine had an secret that he didn't tell anyone but me, he was severely depressed and he couldn't catch a break. He was an hour late to work and probably had a dozen missed phone calls from various people wondering where he was, once he finally showed up he stayed about an hour before it all became too much for him and he walked out.
When my shift ended I went looking for him, he answered my call and I picked him up. Together we went to the park, but what I didn't realise was that the whole time my parents were looking for me and when they found me they tore me away from my friend that desperately needed someone that was on their side.
That night he killed himself, he never left that park. And I never forgave my parents for tearing me away from him.
If I could go back I would have stayed no matter what anyone said, I loved my friend and I still miss him terribly, he could light up a room and make anyone laugh. That's how I choose to remember him now.

poem
It's hard to except the death of those you love, so you believe they can never die.
But with time you start to realize.
Time flows with every beat of your heart.
Space becomes more stable with every breathe that you take.
While you find more reasons for living with every blink of your eyes.
To the distant light above you say goodbye.
But with time you start to realize.
Time flows with every beat of your heart.
Space becomes more stable with every breathe that you take.
While you find more reasons for living with every blink of your eyes.
To the distant light above you say goodbye.

what's the difference
In my mind I know that I had it about as hard as every other teenager on the planet. But my heart tells me that the things that I went through shouldn't have to happen to anyone. So I started to surround myself with people in my life that could be the light to my dark and, for the most part, it worked.
It's time
Today I started thinking that there are a lot of things that i have always wanted to say to people but i never had the chance to. So this is my chance...
